 KEY LOCATIONS

Building  The Hub Dalchreichart

Location Dalchreichart

Potential usage in an emergency - centre for information and distribution of aid. We are also looking at the potential for the Hub to be open at some points after 24 hours in order for reisdents to charge phones and access the internet (this is ongoin). There are currently issues around the Hub being open at all times in an emergency given that power cuts particularly, mean that water gets cut off and therfore sanitation/hygiene is difficult (we still have to comply with health and safety legislation). We are also working with the community council to work on a more widespread resilience plan for the 3 glens.
